Back in 2017, David Leonhardt interviewed George Schultz, who was secretary of state in the 1980s. Every week, George liked to carve out one hour to quietly reflect. He sat down in his office with a pad and a pencil, closed his office door, and asked not to be disturbed unless one of two people called: his wife or the President.

Rather than regurgitate the article above, I wanted to share how I’ve incorporated the ‘Schultz’ hour in my life including:
