How To Stay Positive in a Crazy World

It’s 2023 and just when I think the worst has passed, life has a way of knocking you back down: whether it’s stock market losses, travel delays or cancellations, or not getting the promotion or raise you were hoping for.

I’ve remained relatively calm, resilient and positive even through it all. A decade ago, I would have lost my sh*t. If I were in the same state 10 years ago, I would stay up late getting into the YouTube video chain. I would wake up late, having wasted half my day, eat unhealthily and then do the same thing again (procrastinate, waste time, stay up late). I would have thought: what’s the point of trying to better yourself in this world when life will just knock you down again?

Through extensive books, journal reflections, and living through a crazy world, my mindset has changed. Here’s what I have done over the past 10 years to help transform my mindset:

Stop complaining -> Take action instead

Sounds obvious but you would be surprised how many people get into a bad situation and start complaining even though they know it’s not productive. Heck, I did it myself many years ago. If you’re like me…
